Mr. Samir Hannouche, NCARB, is a Principal of Hannouche Architects, Inc., a Newport Beach, California based planning and architecture firm.

After receiving his architectural degree from the American University of Beirut, Mr. Hannouche joined the architectural firm of Dar-Al-Handasah, Shair & Partners, where he established an impressive design portfolio. This work included prominent civic, institutional and commercial projects in Europe, Asia and Africa. Specific buildings to his credit include the Karachi Sheraton, the Housing Bank Building in Amman, Jordan and the five star Gulf Hotel in Abu Dhabi, which prior to occupancy was transformed into an office complex.

In 1978, Mr. Hannouche moved to the United States where he expanded his architectural career by developing an interest in residential design. Under his leadership, Hannouche Architects has been the recipient of numerous awards; among them several national and international competitions including the MAME Awards (Major Achievements in Merchandising Excellence), the BALA Awards (Best in American Living Awards) and the prestigious Gold Nugget Grand Award, honoring design excellence throughout the Western United States and Pacific Rim countries. The firm’s work is also frequently featured in several notable industry magazines.

Mr. Hannouche is widely acknowledged as one of the United States’ leading architectural designers and is regularly invited to contribute to national conferences and symposiums as a juror and critic. He has also contributed his talents to professionally recognized design workshops such as the Plan Review Workshop at the annual National Association of Home Builder’s convention.

As Director of Design at Hannouche Architects, Mr. Hannouche continues to display his imaginative conceptual ability and unmatched creativity. He is a member of the Building Industry Association of Southern California.
